Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in an awesome game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about other, more skillful people winning their mulla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, novices should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick choices.
It is also much simpler to wager on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
