Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s value is akin to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a sum on par with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays cash equal to your wager and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
